The Special Adviser on Communities and Communications in the Lagos State Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs, Mr. Akeem Omoyele Sulaimon has assured his predecessor of policy continuity in office.
Sulaimon gave the assurance during the official handing over ceremony by his predecessor, Mr. Kehinde Bamigbetan on Tuesday at Ikeja, noting that with the number of professional career officers in the Ministry, his vast experience in grassroots development and the solid foundation laid by his predecessor, the vision of the present administration on grassroots development would soon be realised.
In his words, “Being a grassroots politician, I am ready to mobilise people at the grassroots so as to deliver on my mandate and project the State Government‘s developmental projects and activities”.
Earlier in his remarks, the former Special Adviser, who is now the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Kehinde Bamigbetan said, Mr. Akeem Sulaimon is an achiever with vast experience in grassroots development as such he is capable of achieving and surpassing his mandate.
While pledging his support to the new Special Adviser, Bamigbetan advised him to work together as a team with the members of staff in the Ministry in achieving his objectives.
